What Is A Liver Detox Diet?

A liver detox, or a liver cleanse, is a diet specifically looking to improve the health of your liver. A 6-day liver cleanse diet will be plenty of time to begin seeing the diet’s positive effects. It helps flush toxins from the liver, improve elevated liver enzymes, and decrease fat in the liver. Many factors can accumulate fat in the liver, including:

• Poor diet
• Sedentary lifestyle
• Excess alcohol use
• Drug abuse
• Obesity
• High triglycerides
• Diabetes

The 6-day liver cleanse diet aids in reversing the damage caused by the above health conditions and lifestyle choices. Early diagnosis is crucial to avoid permanent damage. In some cases, liver damage is irreversible, but that is usually after ignoring warning signs to get your liver in shape.



What Are The Foods To Avoid On A Liver Cleanse?

There are quite a few foods to avoid when cleansing your liver. Many popular foods in grocery stores are packaged, processed, and filled with unhealthy ingredients for the liver. For this reason, all foods consumed should be whole, unprocessed, and natural during these six days. Avoid these foods during this cleanse:


• Simple carbohydrates (white bread, white rice, white pasta)
• Packaged baked goods (cookies, cakes, sweetbreads, brownies, and pastries)
• Added sugar (fruit juice, soda, gummy snacks)
• Fried foods
• Fast food
• Excess sodium
• Alcohol
• Red meat
• Foods high in saturated fat (full-fat dairy, deli meat)


As you can see, most foods above are processed and made in factories.
This classification is a good indicator of whether or not a food is good for your liver; if it is a processed food, the answer is no!



What Foods Should I Eat On A Liver Detox?

Apples provide an active living water that hydrates the liver and supports the liver’s ability to hydrate your body. Apples also starve bacteria, yeast and mold out of the intestinal tract and liver. In doing so they keep sludge out of the gallbladder. Apples can also dissolve gallstones. Eat one to three apples a day (or more) if you can. We have added it in our 6 Day Reset.


Artichokes contain phytochemical compounds that inhibit the development of tumors and cysts in the liver. Artichokes also contain many chemical functions that help the liver neutralize toxins before they get to the brain or heart. They help the liver screen and filter your blood. You will get the benefits of it in our Spinach and Artichoke soup.


Asparagus is high in flavonoids and powerful anti-inflammatory compounds—they’re like a natural aspirin. They also expel and dislodge fat cells and other poisons. Asparagus cleanses, detoxifies and soothes the liver. You will have them in the Spinach and Artichoke soup as well as Skinny Artichoke soup.


Bananas are antibacterial, anti-yeast, antifungal foods. The fructose in bananas provides a quick fuel for the liver—it’s one of the organ’s favorite food sources. Bananas also sooth the lining of the intestinal tract.


Berries are a rich medicine chest for the liver. Your liver contains a type of cell known as Kupffer cells, and wild blueberries especially contain the kinds of antioxidants those kuppfer cells need. Raspberries, blackberries and blueberries are all powerful healing foods for your liver. Added in the Young love cold pressed juice. Plus you will have them as snack.


Broccoli are an ultimate liver cleansing food. You can eat them raw, steam them or even juice them. Brussels sprouts and other cruciferous vegetables have a special sulfur that expels poisons and pathogens from your liver. It is a part of Broccoli Cleansing soup.


Celery contains undiscovered subgroups of sodium that I call cluster salts. These cluster salts protect liver cell membranes. They strip the cells of viruses down and bind onto free floating poisons. Drinking sixteen ounces of pure celery juice with nothing added on an empty stomach every morning is a powerful way to cleanse your liver.


Cucumbers are an ally for the liver. They provide a hydrating liver water just like apples. Cucumbers also cleanse the liver. Added in multiple juices with straight celery juice on the 6th day.


Lemons and limes improve hydrochloric acid (HCL) production in the stomach. They also cleanse fatty livers and help dissolve gallstones. Added in many juices. Oranges and tangerines provide a wealth of calcium and vitamin C that the liver can use since it’s combined with the glucose in the fruit. Present on our Butternut and Orange cold pressed juice and also Cold crusher cold pressed juice.


Spinach has mineral salts and nutrients that help the liver. It also helps the liver receive vitamin B12 better. Added in our Spinach and Tofu soup.


Tomatoes harness critical phytochemicals, micronutrients, vitamins and minerals that support the liver. The fruit acid in a tomato also helps the gallbladder eliminate some of the sludge that can sit in the bottom of the gallbladder. They also dissolve gallstones. Added in Tomato soup.


Wild blueberries have pigments that reverse damage to the liver. You will have them as snack.


What your liver needs to be healthy is oxygen, water, sugar and mineral salts. These elements, along with nutrients from fruits and vegetables, are what the organ craves. Interestingly, the liver can only take in the nutrients when they’re surrounded by sugar (glucose). Of course, We are not talking about table sugar or corn syrup, We are talking about the natural health-giving sugars in fruits, tomatoes, potatoes and squash.


People who are on no-fruit or low-carbohydrate diets are unknowingly starving their livers and doing themselves a real disservice. If a nutrient comes in but it isn’t bound by a sugar, your liver will let it roll on by. Sugar allows the liver to take in the nutrient. Sugar is the fuel that helps your liver break down fat too. This may surprise you given how popular and trendy high fat and high protein and low carb diets (whether they are plant based or animal based) are today. While these diets have some benefits in the respect that they take our processed and junk foods, these diets are still problematic


Your liver also needs natural sugars to keep cool. The liver is a naturally hot organ, but toxins and high protein, high fat diets make it hot in a toxic way. Glucose from fruits and carbohydrate-rich vegetables help it cool.



Your Liver’s Neighbour: The Gallbladder

The hot liver shoots a sludge of gunk, toxins, poisons and chemicals, along with cholesterol and bilirubin, into the gallbladder. The gallbladder is a naturally cooler organ, and its temperature is linked with the temperature of the liver. The hotter the liver gets, the cooler the gallbladder needs to get. When a too-hot liver leads to a very cool gallbladder, people experience symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats. These issues stem from the dynamic between the liver and the gallbladder. Day 1


 9  AM- Liver Detox Shot - Beetroot, Carrot, Agave, Neem,  Ashwagandha , E3 Live Cayenne, Lemon, Ginger. 


9.30 AM -  Strawnana Smoothie-  Berries, bananas, avocado, kale, beets , apple .


11 AM - Blueberries.


1 PM - Super charged Satay - Hard Tofu, Black rice, Edamame, Peanut butter, Tahini, Sesame seeds, Coconuts.


3 PM- Apple. 


6 PM- Skinny Artichoke Soup- Artichokes, mushrooms, celery, almond milk, salt and pepper.

1 PM-  Quinoa Roasted Veggie salad  - Quinoa , black rice, sweet potato, kale, zucchini, black pepper, blue berry, Sesame seeds, parsley with a tangy dressing. 


Dressing - Lemon Olive Oil {Agave , Lemon , Salt , Water , Pepper }


3 PM- Apple with After Math Juice with Milk thistle for Liver Cleansing. 


6 PM- Healing Turmeric Soup - Zucchini, Onions, Carrots, lentils, Turmeric Root, Coconut Milk, Barley, Ground Cumin, Grounf Turmeric, Pepper.

Day 3

6 PM - Romesco soup with chickpeas - Red bell peppers, almonds, almond milk,  ginger, tomatoes, vinegar, harissa, paprika, black pepper, salt, chickpeas. 

Day 4

9 AM - Turmeric root shot - Turmeric Root, Ginger, Indian Gooseberries, Orange


9.30 AM- Liver Detox Smoothie- carrot, beetroot  , apples  , ginger, parsley, flax seed .


   11 AM - Blueberries.


1PM - Quinoa and Pomegranate Salad- Quinoa, Pomegranate, Red radish, Cashews, Chives Parsley, Coriander, Chickpeas, Mesculin


Dressing - Lemon Olive Oil {Agave , Lemon , Salt , Water , Pepper }


3PM - Whole apple with Boss Tonic Vegan Probiotic Juice- Vegan Probiotics, ginger, turmeric, lemon, coconut nectar. 


6 PM Creamy Asparagus Soup - Asparagus, peas, ginger almond milk, salt and pepper.

Day 5

9.30AM - Granola with Almond Milk -  Whole grain organic oats, cocoa powder, vegan choco chips, almonds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, organic agave syrup, coconut oil and dates. 


11 AM - Apple.


1PM  - Chickpea Shakshuka- Chickpeas, tomatoes capsicums, Miso paste, Tofu.


3PM  - Butternut Squash Carrot Juice- Butternut, spinach, carrot, lemon, parsley.


6 PM - Mushroom Korma - Mushrooms, Sweet Potatoes, Spices, Cumin, Mustard Seeds, Spinach. 

Day 6

9 AM - Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie- Bananas, blueberries, parsley, barley powder, Atlantic dulse, orange juice.


9.30AM  - Peanutty Banana Blast - Oat Meal Smoothie -Oatmeal , banana, peanut butter , maple syrup, almond Milk  , pumpkin, carrots .


11 AM - Blue berries with Chill Pill- Vegan Probiotic Juice, Contains Pineapple, lemon, chamomile, Ashwagandha, vanilla, coconut nectar, Vegan Probiotics.

Before doing any plan with us, we will send you a questionnaire to check if the selected plan is right one . Many times we need a thorough cleaning before we start any plan. Your selected plan may then be altered to a mix of a few plans or a completely different plan than what you chose. Please go ahead and order the plan, still, allow us to send you a questionnaire.
